Our Corporate Office is strategically located in Ikeja Area, (Capital of Lagos State) the Commercial nerve center of Nigeria for easy Accessibility and our clientele base is presently spread across major cities in Nigeria.
Biofem Pharmaceuticals is fully registered and licensed to carry out the following activities among other things:

Operate as a Licensed Pharmaceutical Company.

Import any approved Pharmaceutical products from any part of the World.

Register Products in Nigeria on behalf of Overseas Manufacturers in line with regulations of NAFDAC (National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control)

Act as Manufacturers representative / Sole Agency for Pharmaceutical Products Imported for sale in Nigeria and Neighboring Countries.

Managing Director:
Mr. Femi Soremekun
graduated with a B.Sc in Accountancy from the Prestigious Florida International University, Miami, Florida in 1986. Worked briefly with Elizabeth Arden, U.K before returning to Nigeria in 1991 as the Pioneer Managing Director of Bolar Pharmaceutical Company Nigeria Limited, a company involved in the importation, wholesale and retail distribution of high quality pharmaceutical products from Pharmacia & Upjohn, Grunenthal Gmbh, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi Synthelabo amongst others.
With a vision for greater Health and Personal Care Promotion in Nigeria, Biofem Nigeria Limited was eventually born in 1998 and the attendant phenomenal growth in such a little time saw to the Incorporation of BIOFEM PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED in 2000.
Director:
Mrs. Tolu Olaniyan:
A
registered pharmacist and a member of the pharmaceutical
society of Nigeria. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (University of Ife,
1987) and a Masters in Clinical Pharmacy degree (University of Lagos, 2002). Mrs
Olaniyan has up to two decades of experience in various aspects of pharmacy
practice, spanning hospital, community, wholesaling, importation and
distribution of pharmaceuticals. She also has over a decade’s experience in
administration and regulatory affairs.
She joined Biofem
Pharmaceuticals as a director in January 2003 and was the pioneer Superintendent
Pharmacist, a position she held until December, 2006. She became a registered
pharmacist in Canada in December, 2006 and is a member of the Canadian
Pharmacists Association.
Executive Director:
Mrs Biodun Soremekun B.Sc. Bus. Admin. (University of Benin 1990). MBA (University of Nigeria, Nsuka 2000). Biodun Soremekun's work experience spans Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Lenoil Limited a private Petroleum Company with branches in Namibia and Liberia, Guaranty Trust Bank (where she worked in various Divisions such as Cash Operations, Retail and Commercial Banking, International Trade Unit, Local and International Funds Transfer.and finally left after 8 years as Head of Administration having seen to the establishment of over 13 branches Nationwide and a branch in the Gambia) and Oceanic Bank International Nigeria Limited where as head of Administration and Services. Similarly, within 18 months, she Coordinated the greatest expansion ever witnessed in the banking Industry in Nigeria, growing the branch network from 12 in February 2001 to 42 branches by November 2002.
Mrs. Soremekun left Oceanic Bank in November 2002, to put her considerable talent and experience to use in Biofem Pharmaceuticals Nig Ltd.
Director:
Mr. Ade Popoola FPSN is A 1983 graduate of pharmacy with an MBA from Lagos State University. He started his career as a Medical Representative with Roche (Nig) ltd where he rose to the position of Area Manager, before taking up the position of ICI Sales & Marketing Manager with the Local Agent of ICI/Zeneca- (Jagal Pharma Ltd).He rose to the position of Pharma Operations Manager before leaving in 1995, to set up Reals Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
He teamed up with Mr. Femi Soremekun to promote Biofem Pharmaceuticals Limited in January 2002, based on shared visions both had together since 1995 on his exit from Jagal Pharma.
He is member of Several Professional bodies, a fellow of and an executive of Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria, PSN

Mr. Babatunde Ogunleye
Regional Manager, North:
Mr. Chizobam Enyinnia
holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Hons Degree from the University of
Uyo(2000). He has aquired considerable experience working in several positions
in key pharmaceutical establishments which include Pharmacy Dept, Federal
Medical Centre, Umuahia, Abia State(2000), Nichben Pharmaceutical Industries
Ltd, Awo-Omamma, Imo State(2001) and Pharmacy Dept, National Assembly Clinic,
Abuja (2002-2004) where he served as Secretary of the Drugs and Therapeutics
Committee (publishing the 1st ever Drug Formulary for use in National Assembly
Medical Departments).
He joined Biofem Pharmaceuticals Ltd in January 2005 as Medical Representative
for Northern Nigeria, attended the reputable Merck Diabetes Academy, Lyon France
(November 2006), promoted to Senior Medical Representative (Abuja Territory) in
March 2007, and then on to Regional Manager-North (April 2008), a position from
which he oversaw an aggressive expansion of the company's reaches into
previously pro-generic markets.

Regional Manager, West:
Mr. Adeolu DEMEHIN
was born in Cameroon and had his primary and secondary education in that country
before proceeding to the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,
Nigeria, where he acquired his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree.
Deolu joined Biofem
Pharmaceuticals Ltd just after his National Youth Service programme in October
2006. Having served as the Company’s Medical Representative in Benin for about
18 months, Deolu was appointed Regional Manager West (the fastest to be so
appointed) for Biofem and he now manages sales for the company across 9 states
in Nigeria with 10 direct reports in his team. He equally acts as Product
Manager Analgesics, Chief Operating Officer Biofem Medical Devices and
Diagnostics, and he is also responsible for Performance Management of the
entire Biofem Sales Force. Deolu recently completed his Executive MBA programme
with Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife – November 2009.
Deolu believes, the world is a
huge stage and he is on stage every day. According to him: “My boss appreciates
efforts, but he only rewards results!”

LIFEPLAN PRODUCTS LTD, UK:
We represent the Company which is based in the United Kingdom, as its sole agents in Nigeria. The fast line range, which has gained acceptance in the Nigeria Market include
a number of Multivitamins but we market the High Strength Chewable Vitamin C
which is fully registered with NAFDAC.
MERCK SANTE S.A.S: The company is based in Lyon, France, and we represent them as their sole agent in Nigeria and have successfully registered Glucophage 500mg and 1000mg tablets. The product is internationally acclaimed as the No.1 anti diabetic tablet. The product comes in 2 strengths 500mg and 1000mg for the Nigerian market, and is currently being used in Europe, America, Asia and 22 African Countries, including Egypt and South Africa. The 1000mg tablet is less than 3 years old in the international market and currently
is the gold standard drug of choice in the treatment of type 2 or severe diabetic cases.
